THIS is a Gun Show.

Okay, if you are serious about preparing for ANY storm…

… you’ve probably considered owning and then learning to (safely) use  a firearm. Home defense means exactly that, in a bad situation.

This  often leads you to pawn shops, gun shops, classified ads and then (gasp!) on-line.

Note:

ANY purchased weapon should be immediately taken to a qualified gunsmith or other gun expert to be checked for proper firing capability, before you head off to the range or the woods.

Sure, it’s gonna cost you a couple of bucks. But failing to do so can cost you an eye or a couple of fingers , or even worse. Do the math for yourself.  Gun ownership includes heavy responsibility. Do the right thing, huh?

Okay, “Public Service Announcement” over. Back to the show…

From there, you might even attend a local Gun Show.

These events are usually held at your local fairgrounds or in a Convention Center setting.

At a gun show, you’ll find the standard fare, plus fabulous weapons, fine looking women (yes, gratuitous sexism accompanies gun sales…) and guys and gals who look like they just crawled out of the bush to sell you that weapon of choice.

You CAN find great bargains at these events.

In fact, I recommend that you attend at least ONE of these events BEFORE you purchase that weapon of choice.

It’ll really open your eyes to what’s available out there, and what that weapon should cost.

But THIS is a real GUN SHOW:

And remember – Let’s be careful out there. THE BEST thing that you can do is to take a class from a qualified weapons instructor, to learn how to safely use and store that new weapon.

Many small kids find the family weapon and then disaster strikes. Do NOT let this happen to you.

Part of Gun Safety is Gun Responsibility.

The guys here at The Bubba Effect give a big “Tip Of The Lid” to:

“Roger J.”

(who by the way is one fine Strat playin S.O.B.)  for sending us this great video!

Anybody crazy enough to sleep with his gear and make a Stratocaster HOWL like a glorious demonic choir is a-okay in our book!

  1. Gun shows are a great way to lay hands on many different weapons.
A firearm that fits you well, and good solid training has never hurt anyone.
